where can i find past enrollment summaries for CSS? specifically 1990, 2000, and 2010?
When we talk about enrollment numbers we use two terms - "head count" and "full-time equivalent, or FTE."
Head count is the total number of students who enrolled in a year, whether full or part-time.
FTE is based on the total number of credits taken in a semester.
And example - if two students each enroll part time, taking half the credits needed, the head count number would be two. But, the FTE number would be one (credits added together & then divided by the number of students).
Here are the head count/FTE numbers asked for The College of St. Scholastica.
|YEAR||HEAD COUNT||FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT (FTE)|
|1990 (Fall semester)||1953||1706.66|
|2000 (Fall semester)||2062||1837.06|
|2010 (Fall semester)||3898||3597.2|
