There is.

On the library homepage, in the Popular Links box on the left-hand side, access Academic Search Premier. When you have, choose the option for "advanced search." The link is just below the search box.

When you are in advanced search, enter New York Times in the search box. Just to the right, alter the default search from "select a field (optional)" to "SO journal name." This will default your search results to just the New York Times.

You can now enter a search term in the middle row search box (leave the default as is) and conduct your search.

We also offer historical access to the New York Times, from the first issue in 1851, to the approx. 2009 at:  http://libguides.css.edu/content.php?pid=167270&sid=1409550

Good luck with your searching.
