I think for due diligence sake I would search under both the generic and the brand name.

Most of our library databases allow you to search for more than one term at the same time - usually in the advanced search - using the Boolean operator OR (see attached image - Search for drug names using OR).

This would also potentially increase the number of search results which is beneficial since when you then limit to EBP articles the number of results will drop significantly.
